The Mothers' Union Wave of Prayer which is being observed from 26th to 31st August with a Day of Prayer on Friday 31st August at The Cathedral Church of St Michael & All Angels, commencing at 9:00 a.m. until 4:30 p.m.
Day's Programme
- Holy Eucharist with the Very Rev. Dr. Frank Marshall, Dean of the Cathedral.
- Address by The Mothers' Union Chaplain, Rev. Canon Paul Lashley
- A message from the Provincial & Diocesan President Mrs. Jennifer Maynard.
The Rev. Stephanie-Ann K. Wedderburn - Assistant Curate at Christ Church and Rev. Angela Phillips - Rector of St. Patrick.
Other resource persons will participate.
There will be a session on Non communicable Diseases.
In our wave of prayer we pray for: West Indies: Barbados; Congo: Katanga and Kinshasa; Aotearoa; New Zealand & Polynesia: Nelson; Nigeria: Ijebu North; Canterbury: Truro.
