Dear Brother in Christ
My wife Carole and I recently shared Holy Week and Easter with you at St Matthias' Church during our holiday in Barbados.
I can't thank you enough for what was one of the highlights of our holiday. The warmth of our welcome by your congregation; the numbers in church on Palm Sunday, Good Friday and Easter; the blessed familiarity of the Anglican Liturgy; the delightfully sensitive compilation of the Book of Common Prayer of the Province of the West Indies - which was a new experience for us; and most particularly your own warm welcome to us and your leadership of the congregation - all of this reduced me to tears of joy and thanksgiving on each occasion that we visited.
Many, many thanks to you and to your congregation for making us so welcome and for making Holy Week and Easter 2013 an unforgettable experience for us. Please pass on our thanks to what has instantly become "our family in Barbados".
